Life, all merry until the late teens kick in. The worldwide acclaimed idea of education being the best asset one can acquire in this new age we live in. Nonetheless, career path choices are something to consider carefully, because as mentioned, education being an asset but if the career chosen wasn’t thought through then we will be back to the same old questions. Though this doesn’t mean one who is educated without a career is the same as the uneducated one, so no matter what it is, we still have to get some schooling.
What is the essence of education anyway? Is it really a must to attend these expensive schools? Is education just some psychological scam people use to enrich themselves? All being considered, it's not cheap to get educated and as time goes by the higher the level of education is expected from scholars. Whichever way you look at it, one is still going to spend a lot. Spending a lot is measured by the income one’s family or what an individual makes, and what is spent to acquire education, hence the loans that students spend all their lives paying back.
Education can crudely be divided into formal and informal. Back in the days, humans use to learn by passing down experiences from one generation to the other, just like any other mammal, that's how it is supposed to be(informal). So what really changed? Basically, I have a thought which is; “/there must have been one man who thought of organizing and put all the experiences into written words and then sell all that to people; to me, this man is the smartest of them all/”<formal>, this man was a pioneer.
With all being said, thanks to education we are able to find ourselves not only that but also we come in touch with our true passions and we are able to figure out what we need and want out life. Though it's usually sad when parents force children to an educational path they don’t desire although sometimes it's for a good course.
So really this just comes down to the following;
> it's an ugly expensive process that is deemed necessary with no guarantee of success but important, very much needed to get ahead.
So whichever way you slice it, get yourself some education.

ReplyDeleteI would very much agree,with input that informal or formal, we learn in so many different ways in this journey of life; and the quantity or quality is to an individual. Whoever discovered the formal way was truly a dreamer because to this day society has put great value to his success even when there are so many schoolers jobless and so many successful individuals who are either school drop outs or did not follow the school is important trend. Let's continue to ponder. Peace.
